I knew Simon well during my years in Leeds in the late 80’s and early 90’s and spent a lot of time together playing chess, going out or (probably his favourite thing) of watching some Sci-Fi on the old VHS video (not sure if people will remember these nowadays). Simon was mad keen on videoing all kinds of things under his pseudonym “Leon Slim Wings”, even recording my wedding in ’95. Simon was always a lot of fun and a very nice and kind person and his passing leaves the world a poorer place.  Rest in Peace.
